If you've never seen the spy-spoof series "Get Smart," (pictured above) from the 1960s (or the remake movie starring Steve Carrell), it would be well worth your time to seek it out. It was created and written by comic legends/geniuses Buck Henry and Mel Brooks, and its humor still holds up today.
As I was reading this story about eating at a restaurant while encased/enclosed in a "plastic bubble", I was reminded of an ongoing joke on the show: "The Cone of Silence."
Now...how the "Cone of Silence" may be infiltrating your dining experience
If eating out means eating like this, I think I will opt for eating at home.
