Sometimes you come across something on social media and you think, "I really wish I didn't see that."  Then there are times you come across things like this that you think, "Why doesn't the rest of the world see this?!"

Klein Oak High School is in a suburb of Houston, Texas.  They were a high school in our playing district when I was a student/athlete in high school.  Head Coach/Athletic Director, Jason Glenn held a pre-summer meeting with his Varsity Panther Football Team.

I think he held it for all of us.

For all who have competed, I'm not telling you something new here, for the rest let me clue you in:  there is no color in a locker room.  When you share blood, sweat, and tears in pursuit of a common athletic goal with someone on a team with you, there is a bond of brotherhood that never dies.

Perhaps that's why I've been so perplexed by all of this violent racial strife.

I just assumed everyone had spent time in a locker room.

I think we'd all be better off if we had.
