I was 16 in the summer of 1986.  I was dating a great girl and one thing we loved to do was go to the movies.  Late in that summer, we went to see a movie from the guy behind "St. Elmo's Fire," "The Breakfast Club," and "Sixteen Candles" (John Hughes).  It was about a kid who decided to skip a day of school in the spring of his senior year.

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" became an instant classic that holds up to this day!  My son, a senior this year, will quote you Ferris lines all day.

Josh Gad has dones something really during the pandemic.  He's hosted a "Reunited Apart" show on his YouTube channel where he's brought together the casts of movies like, "Back to the Future," "The Goonies," "Lord of the Rings," "Splash," "Ghostbusters," and more.

Well, he's wrapping the whole thing up with one that I'm not missing.  Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Jennifer Grey, and yes, "Ferris" himself, Matthew Broderick (pictured above) will all reunite this weekend.
