Lack Of Flying Means 4th Of July Weekend Traffic Might Be Worse Than Usual
This weekend is the 4th of July weekend, and with the coronavirus still being a huge concern, many people have changed or even canceled their travel plans. But others are still planning on traveling to take advantage of the 3-day weekend.
Because many people are not yet comfortable to fly (understandably), most Americans are taking to their cars to go on short road trips for the long weekend. According to AAA, the worst times to get in your car if you want to avoid traffic are as follows:
- Thursday, July 2nd – 3p-6p
- Friday, July 3rd from 10a-2p
- Sunday, July 5th from 11 am-4 pm
If you are planning on traveling this weekend, please be careful and remember to practice social distancing and COVID safety measures. Happy 4th of July!
