Disney World is usually the place where dreams come true but one Disney Princess found herself in a bad spot when the horse she was riding in a princess parade suddenly spooked.  It spooked for a good reason.  Apparently a toddler was about to run into the parade route when her Dad caught her but the child lost her grasp on the balloon.

That's when this sweet parade could have gone really sideways.  The child's balloon wrapped around the back left leg of the horse the Disney princess was riding. Merida has mad skills thought and managed to stay on the horse until she could safely hop off.  No one was injured but this could have been bad.

When I ride in the woods with my horse sometimes her feet will get tangled in underbrush.  She is trained to stop or lift her foot out of precarious situations.  I don't know how she would do if a balloon wrapped around her back foot, I'm guessing I would have had a rodeo on my hands.

Here is what happened at Disney
