Gallery: Happy International Friendship Day

This week is friendship week so if you are lucky enough to have a few you are blessed indeed.  It's a great time to reach out to friends you see and maybe those you don't see as much and say, hey! I love you!

The origins of friendship day go back a few years.  It was started back in 1958 by a doctor in Paraguay when he was having dinner with friends.  He started a crusade to make July 30 a day to spend with friends.  Back in the beginning friends used to exchange gifts, then they exchanged greeting cards and now we just post pictures of each other on social media.

In the spirit of "Friendship Day" I thought I would share some pics of mine.   These are just a few that were easily accessible and don't get mad at me if I missed yours.  If you are reading this, YOU are my favorite:)
