I've been VERY lucky in my radio career. While most broadcasters have to hop from town to town to get to and stay in a big market, I pretty much started off right here in Charlotte and I have been able to stay here since I began in the (gulp) the 80s.  Nothing special I did on my part, it's all YOU that allowed this to happen. I will forever be grateful to you for keeping me here and allowing me to do what I love.

I have seen many many MANY changes over the years' from the way the FCC allowed companies to buy and sell radio stations to how we have operated in the studio and so much more. And while it is fun to meet and interview celebrities, go to concerts for work, and play music for a living, the real joy is the people I have worked with over the years. And being able to serve our amazing community.

Thursday is National Radio Day, so I thought you might get a kick out of seeing a few of my pics from then and now.
