"Spaceballs," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Ghostbusters," "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids," "Strange Brew," what do ALL of these comedy masterpieces have in common? They all starred/co-starred a diminutive (in size, not talent) Canadian comedy actor named Rick Moranis.

In 1991, he stepped away from show business to focus on his family following the death of his wife from breast cancer. Outside of an appearance on "The Goldbergs" (reprising his "Spaceballs" role), he has done just that-stayed away from showbiz.

Anyway, fellow Canadian, Ryan Reynolds has a stake in the company Mint Mobile and on a lark approached-as a fanboy-Moranis to appear in his commercial. And he agreed! How cool is this?!

BTW-Moranis will make a formal return to acting next year as he's agreed to be in "Shrunk," an update on the "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" franchise with Josh Gad playing his character's now grown son.
