Country-ish Looks Like A Reality Show Worth Watching

I'll admit, I'm not nearly as in tune with the "Texas" Country artists as a native son should be.  For some reason, their music (with some exceptions:  Pat Green, Eli Young Band, etc.) has never really crossed the state lines into the mainstream of country music.

So when I saw the ad for this new show, "Country-ish," starring "Texas Country Artist" Coffey Anderson (pictured above), I immediately said, "Who?!"

Then when I saw that his wife, Criscilla,  is a professional hip-hop dancer and the two of them, with their family live in LA?

All in

Their story is not only interesting, but harrowing as well because she is battling cancer.

"Country-ish" debuts on Netflix September 25.

Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The couple have been with the radio station since 2006.
