Sometimes, situations need a hero. For example, at this point there's NO ARGUMENT that 2020 has just sucked. Right and left school, events, and even life milestones have been canceled due to Covid-19.
The list appears to be never-ending with Halloween seemingly destined to be added to it. You can hear it can't you? "How can you possibly trick-or-treat safely?!"
Well, "Karen," meet Halloween's hero, Andrew Beattie.
This Ohio dad has come up with a socially distanced way to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters this Halloween, and his "invention" is going viral.
Yup, this dude has created a candy chute that runs down the handrail of the steps outside his house. So, he's come up with a "touch-free" way for kids to still be able to collect candy on Halloween.
"I want our youngins to be able to have some sense of normalcy and maybe a little bit of exercise in all this madness, and I've put a LOT of thought into how to do so safely," he wrote in his now-viral Facebook post.
