The music world is mourning the loss of the late great legendary guitarist and Van Halen founding member, Eddie Van Halen.  Musicians from all genres are expressing just how much he influenced their own music from Kenny Chesney to Sammy Hagar  and well beyond.

The fans of course are mourning the loss as well and they are doing something unusual to honor him.  Fans are eating brown M&M's in honor of Eddie.  Van Halen's tour rider asked for a bowl of the candy in their backstage area but the bowl could not contain any brown ones.  If it did concert promoters had to give the band their money from the show.  The band placed that clause in the rider to see if the promoters were even reading the contract.
