I am betting you're as big a sucker for these kind of things as we are. Just a nonsensical way to pass a couple of minutes at the office when you've been staring intently at IMPORTANT matters on your computer screen.
I love anything that falls into the category of " _____ happened the year your were born." In this case, Merriam-Webster has a cool tool called, Time Traveler, that reveals words that first appeared in its print dictionary in the year you were born.
In my case words like: angel dust, jailhouse lawyer, and confidentiality agreement all first appeared the year I was born (no, I'm not telling!).
