On a day when the news that an Indian Trail man (no, not Tanner) won a lottery jackpot, I was thinking, "How could I get lucky like this?"

Then, I see an entirely different lottery:  being George Clooney's friend.

In an interview with GQ, he tells a story of how he decided to give his 14 closest friends $1 million each in 2013.  He says he was loaded with cash at the time after making "Gravity" and, “I’ve slept on their couches when I was broke. They loaned me money when I was broke. They helped me when I needed help over the years. And I’ve helped them over the years. We’re all good friends. And I thought, you know, without them I don’t have any of this. And we’re all really close, and I just thought basically if I get hit by a bus, they’re all in the will. So why the [heck] am I waiting to get hit by a bus?”

Now here comes the REALLY cool part.  Clooney says he went to some location in LA where they have "pallets of cash" and loaded up fourteen bags with a million in each in a van with florist markings.

The friends arrived to his home and received the next day.
