Before you go over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house for Thanksgiving in South Carolina, you should really get tested for Covid. That's what South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster told us yesterday.
He says there are free rapid Covid tests available in the Palmetto state. I googled my address and it looks like I could get this done but it would have to be between 9am and 1pm. The free ones are available but are limited so if you are resident in South Carolina better check quick and make an appointment.
Not only did McMaster suggest testing before turkey, he also laid out a plan for school nurses to be trained in how to provide and administer tests for kids once they get back from the Thanksgiving break.
