Lucky for us, a security camera caught every moment when a Florida man dramatically rescues his three month old puppy from the jaws of an alligator. And the funny thing is, he didn't even lose his cigarette during the rescue.
The 74 year old retiree was walking his dog when the alligator shot out of the backyard pond "like a missile" and took the little puppy under the water. Wilbanks sprung into action and retrieved the pup from under water. That was the easy part he said.
Getting the puppy out of the jaws of the alligator was the hard part and the pup owner admits he got his hands chewed up "pretty good". Dogs are family members and we would do anything for them.
