An Indonesian man was working out side his home when a smoking meteorite worth a small fortune hurtled through his roof.
The rock weighed about 4.5 pounds. The 4 billion-year-old meteorite was identified as the rare CM1/2 carbonaceous chondrite variety.
It would sell for $850 per gram. That’s like $1,858,556. Wish it would have taken out my roof!
It was purchased by American experts and is currently being stored in liquid oxygen.
