For Us It’s “Four Christmases”
Tis the season for the annual debate at work, the office, amongst friends. You know the one: “What’s the best Christmas movie of all time.”
The usual suspects fall into one of these categories:
CLASSIC (“It’s a Wonderful Life”)
MODERN CLASSIC (“A Christmas Story”)
COMEDY (“Christmas Vacation”)
Now, I’ll admit…we’ve altered our feelings over the years. “Christmas Vacation” used to be our go-to (and we’ll still watch it this year). I’ve personally ALWAYS loved “A Christmas Carol” (and watch it every Christmas Eve). However, the undisputed champ for us currently is “Four Christmases” starring Reese Witherspoon and the inimitable, Vince Vaughn.
There is SO MUCH in this movie that consistently makes me laugh out loud EVERY time I watch, I don’t know where to start. So, check out the trailer below, but DEFINITELY check out the movie this season if you have not. You will not be sorry.
And who can resist Tim McGraw as a paunchy, “amateur,” MMA fighter. <g>
