Even if this new commercial for Match didn't give us our first listen to Taylor Swift's new, re-recording of "Love Story" (more on that in a sec), I'd still be blogging about it.

First the spot.  Ryan Reynolds stars as the Devil, depressed about his lack of companionship until, ding, a match!  Turns out his soulmate introduces herself by simply saying, "Call me 2020."

The spot ends with Satan and 2020, arm-in-arm, wistfully wishing this year would never end.  Too funny.

Now, the Swifty saga.  You may or may not be aware that just recently, she won the right to re-record her early hits (ALL of her country songs) as the original masters are owned by someone else.

A week or so ago, she skipped the American Music Awards to begin this process, and "Love Story" (the new version) makes its debut in this commercial.

Check it out.  It definitely sounds a little different.
