One Beautiful, Custom Ukulele To A Good Home

We must admit, this was one of the more unique phone calls we've had in some time.  I forget what we were talking about on the air last week, when we got a call from a very nice man with a problem completely unrelated to our current conversation.

He makes custom ukuleles.  I know, right?  Just yesterday we talked about things you know you've done that your friends have not.  Making custom ukes?  Winner.

Anyway, he told us of this soprano size ukulele that was custom ordered by a customer and he decided the measurements were too small for him.

It received minor scuffs from him shipping it back to our craftsman.  It’s fine, he just can’t sell it as new.  The customer said he should just do whatever he wants to with it.

So here's what our guy, "Lou," wants to do.  "I’m sure there is a child who really could use it, not just want it.  I thought to donate it to a children’s hospital but I don’t see that working out with so many kids in and out of treatment.  I thought maybe you guys could help me find a deserving child that would appreciate it. Here is a few pictures of the ukulele I mentioned and a link to my Instagram page of work I do."
