Of the many things that we love about Luke Combs, near the top of the list is that he's never lost the mentality of a struggling bar artist.
Every country star at one point was a struggling bar artist playing cover songs of stars and music they admired. Now, what sets Luke apart is that not only does he continue to play these tunes (albeit privately), but post the performances as well.
The latest example of this? A number one song from Vince Gill's "I Still Believe In You" album, "Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away."
I hope he never loses his love of the music he loves or his willingness to share it with us.
