So, I'm not just a "Star Wars" fanatic (stated MANY times on this blog), I really believe seeing the original film changed my life.

Three years later, in the summer of 1980, I was old enough to go to the movies with my friends and without my parents.  My best friend down the street, Stephen Price was just as big a fan as I was and we waiting in line, on opening day, to see the sequel "The Empire Strikes Back."

This was the brand new "Star Wars" movie being shown at the brand new 6 theater cinema near our homes.  We had our tickets, our popcorn, our seats, and when the lights down and that iconic music began playing...I've never forgotten it.

To celebrate the movie's 49th anniversary, a collection of new outtakes have been released through Good Morning America.

It's amazing to see what these show in terms of the making of a movie that means so much to me.  Too cool.
