So, did you wake up this morning (January 1st) to a stunningly bad hangover?  Been there, done that, and got the t-shirt!

Some will tell you the best way to take care of this is "bite the hair of the dog that bit ya."  In other words, if you were drinking last night, have a stiff one this morning.

Actually, the best way to battle IS through your mouth, but with food, not drink.  Here are some foods to help you get back on your feet:

Fiber-rich foods like Oatmeal or tropical fruits help your digestive system process all that alcohol - preferably alongside a high-protein food like eggs or nuts.

Leafy greens like spinach have loads of potassium that helps restore electrolytes.

And tomatoes have anti-inflammatory properties that help the liver.

Finally, some ginger tea with honey can help with that hangover stomachache.
