Just when you thought college football had somehow, some way navigated the Covid-19 waters of the fall, comes this awful news.
Apparently, there’s been a Coronavirus incident on the Ohio State football team. Between the infected and the contact tracing, Ohio State could be without an entire position group (running backs, linebackers, linemen, etc.) for their game next Monday night against Alabama.
Ohio State, the SEC, the Big Ten and the College Football Playoff have all been in contact about how to handle the situation. As of right now, the game is STILL on for Monday (1/11).
However, if it is postponed, it would be to the following Monday (1/18).
