When our son was little, the kids show that seemingly controlled the world was "Barney the Dinosaur."  That big, purple, goofy-talking, Tyrannosaurus was everywhere and every kid worshipped him.

Not mine.

THANK GAWD!

No, our son was into "Blue's Clues" and "The Wiggles."  Neither of which drove me nuts, so I was cool with them.  Now from time to time I would see him watch this show on TV, but it was never a big deal.  I guess I should be glad.

"Caillou" has been cancelled by PBS kids and parents the world over are rejoicing like the Messiah has returned.

One parent said "Caillou's reign of terror is over!", another user wrote "little brat", and others have said the character was "evil".

Wow.

This is a kids show, right?
