I think it’s pretty safe to say that a lot of new year’s resolutions each year are to be more active and live a healthier lifestyle. I know that’s mine for this year…as well as last year, and probably the year before that…but oh well! New year, probably same me. Regardless, there are certain cities that make it easier to live an active lifestyle. While no North Carolina city made the overall top 10 list, several NC cities made the top 100.

  • Charlotte – 41st
  • Greensboro – 50th
  • Raleigh – 52nd
  • Durham – 58th
  • Winston-Salem – 81st

The top 10 cities overall are:

  1. Honolulu, Hawaii
  2. Portland, Oregon
  3. San Diego, California
  4. San Francisco, California
  5. Chicago, Illinois
  6. Seattle, Washington
  7. Austin, Texas
  8. Denver, Colorado
  9. Los Angeles, California
  10. Washington, DC
