Mecklenburg leaders last night defended their decision to close parks at dusk. This mandate mainly impacts people who want to use tennis or basketball courts after they get off work and many are not happy about it. At all. This is in response to health director Gibbie Harris’s reported directive urging people to only engage in essential activities.
