It is wonderful heading over the Catawba river into Gaston county. There are many beautiful communities all over Gaston county and Belmont is gorgeous! The downtown area is quaint yet becoming more and more sophisticated.
A fine dining restaurant is leaving Charlotte and heading to Belmont. Heirloom is moving to North Main street on Glenway Street in Belmont adding to the growing list of businesses and places to eat well.
Future expansions will include a high end bakery called "Bumblebee" that could possibly open by the end of the summer.
