Video: Major Beer Maker Skipping The Big Game For The First Time In Decades
For the first time since 1983, Anheuser-Busch won’t be airing Bud ads during the Big Game. The company instead announced it will be donating money it would have spent on commercials to coronavirus vaccination awareness efforts.
You will still see four minutes of commercials during the game for their other brands like Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and its new seltzers. But here is the big news, no Clydesdale horses this year.
I don’t know about you but the major reason why the big game is so interesting is because of the ads. It is the “big game” of advertisements. Things will look much much different this year.
Here is one of my favorites from days gone by.
