CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - APRIL 24: Signs along the city highways in Charlotte caution people to stay at home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on April 24, 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, recently extended the state’s stay-at-home order through May 8 as he looks to open the state in three phases. (Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)

My husband drove a Dodge Charger during some of his years with the North Carolina Highway Patrol; those cars can be very fast.  They can be engineered so that law enforcement can catch the bad guys.  And apparently  a group of people who own those cars like to get together and cause a little mayhem.

30 Dodge Chargers blocked all lanes of I 77 in Charlotte over the weekend and then started doing burnouts and doughnuts.  Police were called but by the time they got there the shenanigans were over with.
