We've talked about this on "Other News..." before, but have never seen actual video. This is epic. Dot McCarthy has a farm in Rossendale, Lancashire, England. The Cronkshaw Fold Farm is not just a sanctuary for animals who provided for daily income, but was also a place for things like farm tours, sheepdog demonstrations, goat yoga, wedding, etc.

Well, after the Covid-19 pandemic hit, McCarthy watched that income (and most of her farm income) dry up. One of her friends suggested, as a joke, she offer up her animals for Zoom meetings, you know for mental health.

It was a joke.

It's now a full-time business.

She received about 200 emails to have her goats join virtual meetings. This new-found business has brought in about $70,000. The employs her goats for $7 to make an appearance on zoom meetings.
