No matter what you know, or think you know, about the marriage and disintegration of the relationship between Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, I’ve got a feeling your eyes are about to be opened wide.
Now in all fairness, it appears to be VERY one-sided in its story telling as Mia Farrow has cooperated fully, and Woody Allen is nowhere to be seen (at least in this trailer).
Quick background for you as this scandal came about LONG before the age of social media. Woody Allen is/was one of the most acclaimed filmmakers in history. Mia Farrow is/was a very accomplished actress and his muse.
They fell in love and married.
“I was over the moon happy…but that’s the great regret of my life. I wish I never met him.”-Mia Farrow
You see, they had three kids together. And she had kids of her own that she brought to the relationship including one Soon Yi Previn.
Woody fell in love with her.
“There was a stack of Polaroid pictures-all of them were of my own child. I remember struggling to breathe.”-Mia Farrow
And this just sort of scratches the surface of the head-shaking stuff that went down in this family.
If you’ve ever seen HBO’s documentaries, then you know they are usually GREAT. This one promises to be that and pretty icky as well.
“Allen v. Farrow” begins airing (there are 4 parts) this Sunday on HBO and HBO Max
