If you are anything like us you’ve been fascinated by the college admissions scandal that sent actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin (seen above leaving a courthouse) to prison.
What hooked us more than anything else is that these people could afford to send their, yours, mine, and a lot of people’s kids to college without the blink of an eye. That wasn’t good enough. They wanted their kids to go on “scholarship.” Even one that wasn’t even close to being earned.
This Netflix Documentary: “Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal” debuts on March 17. The mastermind behind the whole scheme/scam was a man named Rick Singer. In this trailer, Singer is in multiple forms. Flashes of the real-life ringleader appear in snippets of news coverage, and in the documentary’s dramatized portions he’s portrayed by actor Matthew Modine.
