Wow.  My mouth is on the ground with this one.  Stewart-Allen Clark is the Pastor of 1st General Baptist Church in Malden, Missouri.  His sermon on Sunday HAD to have had every man squirming in the chair next to his wife-who was shooting him dirty looks if he DARED nod in agreement.

Clark referenced a meme on a big screen and admonished the females in his congregation, “Ladies, here’s the thing you need to know about men: Don’t give him a reason to be like this ‘distracted boyfriend...Why is it so many times that women, after they get married, let themselves go?”

I always love it when guys who are dead ringers for Brad Pitt take up the mantle of responsibility in lecturing women on their appearance.

And the fallout?

1st General Baptist’s parent organization, General Baptist Ministries, has issued the following statement, “The sermon included comments that are not consistent with the position and values of their denomination."

Nice.  I'd LOVE to be a fly on that church wall next week.
