What Does A 17-Year-Old Cheeseburger And Fries Like?

Let me begin with this statement:  I'm not even 20% sure and confident that this whole thing is legit.  I mean WHO EXACTLY keeps a McDonald's burger and fries, in a bag, in their home for more than a decade-and-a-half?

ESPECIALLY a woman?  I'm not painting with a broad brush here, just imagining the woman *I* live with going for this...yeah, no!

Savannah Whitehead shared her TikTok of her mom opening a McDonald’s bag that has held a cheeseburger and fries for 17 years.

Again, let this sink in.  A MOM left this laying around her house and kitchen?  C'mon...

Anyway Whitehead’s mom claims  to have purchased the food back in 2004 and saved the items to see what would happen to them over the years.

The results?

The fries appear normal, just REALLY hard, but no mold whatsoever.

The  burger itself, also mold-free, but the bun was a little hard (to say the least) and it was difficult to separate.  However, burger patty itself doesn't appear too dissimilar from a fresh one.

I can't decide what's scarier....the results or that there's a mom out there who's into doing these kind of experiments. <g>
