Chris Stapleton's was catapulted to superstardom in 2015 after he performed on the CMA Awards with Justin Timberlake. That performance changed his life and led him and his family to move.

Chris told us, "In 2015, we had kind of had our big kind of moment on the CMAs that was kind of life altering. We had a tour bus showing up at our house that we lived on a very normal street. The tour bus coming by twice a day full of people with cameras and, you know, had people driving from three and four states away that just looked up your address and are all of a sudden they're in your driveway."

He continued, "You know what? You're trying to play ball with your kids and those kind of things. I was thirty eight when all that started happening and there were lots of great positive things that happened from that moment but the loss of privacy was not one of them."

Stapleton added, "I'm a fairly private person and so we rented a house down the street and put the other house up for sale and didn't know where we were going."
