It's never happened to us (thank God), but when driving on winter nights in Union County, we are ALWAYS on the lookout for deer.  We've seen what they can do to cars-no thanks.

That being said, it's rare that I've seen or heard of a deer v. car incident in the light of day.  Rarer still (as in, I've NEVER heard of it) is a deer v. school bus incident in the light of day.

The crazy and fortunate part of the story is that not only was no one injured, but the deer got up and left the bus through the front door.  According to the onboard video from the Virginia school bus, the deer met the windshield at 47 mph.

Amazing.
