It may be hard to imagine not seeing a McDonald's anywhere, but one state makes it hard to spot one. North Dakota is the U.S. state with the least amount of McDonald's locations with just 28 restaurants. Fargo, North Dakota specifically has nine locations-the most out of anywhere else in the state.
As far as most locations per state, California is home to 1,252 Golden Arches. Do you have a lot of McDonald's locations near you?
