Look, let me be perfectly clear, MOST of the time I am completely in favor of "Director's Cuts" of movies.  As someone who spent an insane amount of time in film classes in college, I have a huge appreciation for the creative vision of those who make films. A lot of the time, that vision is altered or taken away by studios and/or financiers. So when there's a new cut of "The Godfather Part III" or even the recent "Zach Snyder's Justice League," due to these factors, I'm all in.  That being said, I wasn't quite ready for this...

I mean,  Director/Star, Sylvester Stallone's "Rocky IV" is not exactly a Cecil B. DeMille masterpiece, right?  I mean, I dug it when I saw it in high school and I watch it when it's on now, but do we REALLY need a director's cut?!  What possible footage to further move the story along or provide depth could there be.

If you watch Rocky IV now, it's essentially an extended 1980s music video with action between the music clips. Oh well, we'll see when it comes out.  Originally Stallone intended for this to come out last November to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the original film's release.
