There is literally nothing worse than being asleep, in the dark, and waking up to an unknown sound. The panic triggers and there's just a super uncomfortable feeling that happens next. Everyone's worst nightmare is that that noise is an actual person in your residence and that's exactly what one N.C State University student felt.

According to WRAL, she woke up to see an unknown person in the entryway of her room. Her room was reportedly unlocked at the time of the incident, which was shortly after 4 am Tuesday, April 13th. When she woke up to find him there, she screamed and he fled. There were no injuries and no items were stolen.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to call 911 NC State Police at (919) 515-3000.

This happens not even a month after 20-year-old Christina Matos was found dead inside her Raleigh apartment. Her roommate has since then been arrested and charged with murder.
