You might want to think about doing what my husband and Winnie are doing if you go to the beach anytime soon.  Stay on shore.  Seaworms or "clamworms" are swarming in the water and ther bite will get your attention.

The seaworms normally hang out on the bottom of the ocean but in the spring they come out looking for love.  In other words it is mating season for the ugly little things and you do not want to be on the business end of their  bite.

Seaworms can bite!  and they can bite so hard that they can break the skin.  Oh great, something else besides sharks and jelly fish to worry about.  Hopefully this won't last long.
