Imagine just walking out of your house on a beautiful spring North Carolina afternoon only to be greeted-well, that's the wrong word-attacked by a rabid bobcat.  That's the nightmare caught on video that Pender County couple,  Happy and Kristi Wade lived through on April 9.

How scary is that?  Happy went on put the bobcat down with a gunshot.  The bad news?  Testing of the bobcat's body confirmed that the animal had rabies.  More bad news?  Happy and Kristi were both scratched and bitten multiple times during the event.  As a result, each of the Wades received 30 shots after the animal attack to protect them from rabies.  I guess that's bad and good news.  Both are expected to be just fine.
