People do strange & unique things with the remains of loved one. This though, may be the most unique yet. John Hinkle is pretty good bowler. And by pretty good, I mean he was a 2-time NCAA Bowling Champion during his days at Western Illinois University. Not surprisingly, his dad got him into the game when he was a boy and they bonded over it. John's 39 now, and his father (John Sr.) recently passed away. Here's where the "interesting" part comes in.
John Junior uses the 2 handed bowling technique. To do this legally, you can only put 2 fingers in the ball. So he had some of John Sr. put and sealed into the thumb hole of one of his bowling balls (since the thumb hole is not in use). The other day, John Jr. and the late John Sr. just bowled a perfect 300 game!!! He said his dad never bowled a 300 game. He had a 298, a 299 and now he has a 300. He said he was crying towards the end and actually had no idea where the last ball hit. How great is this story?!
