Country Music News

Country music fans rejoiced when they found out Dierks Bentley was reviving his High Times And Hangovers tour and embarking on a five-city bar tour.

Bentley originally headlined the High Times And Hangovers Tour back in 2006. In keeping with the tradition of the tour, he brought the same special guest along for the new tour — Which kicked off at the Windjammer in South Carolina on May 11.

The tour landed in Greenville, South Carolina for a show on May 12, before making its way to Charlotte last night.

Much to the delight of fans, Bentley kicked off the show at Coyote Joe’s as his alter ego, Doug Douglason and performed as his ’90s country band, Hot Country Knights. Cody Canada and the Departed took the stage next, followed by Dierks to finish out the show. He started his performance by singing his hit single, “Gone,” followed by “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)”.

The tour will make a stop in Gainesville, Florida tonight and will conclude in Knoxville, Tennessee.

If you weren’t able to make it out to Coyote Joe’s last night, you’ll have another chance to catch Dierks in Charlotte later this year when he brings his Beers On Me Tour to the PNC Music Pavilion stage on September 18th.
