Sometimes bad things happen in beautiful places. Beware of a potential kidnapper on the outer banks. A woman says she was abducted from a public restroom near Cape Hatteras.
She tells officials she was kidnapped and forced to her car. There the man reportedly forced her to drive more than 30 miles before she was able to escape.
If you need to use a public restroom really anywhere be aware of your surroundings at all times and make sure someone goes with you if you can or is at least aware that you are in the restroom.
It happened May 12 near the Bodie Island Light station. The alleged kidnapper is still at large. To learn more just go right here
