Immortality is a concept that has been done many times, many ways by Hollywood.  The thought of living forever and the good and bad that can come from it, is fascinating.  Now, when you combine immortality with action and adventure?  I'm all in.  One of my faves in this realm is 1986's "Highlander."  In this film, a group of "immortals" battled throughout time in search of "the prize."  The only way their lives could end, was to lose their head in sword battle.  The irony is that the prize was...to be mortal.

The latest movie to tackle immortality hits Paramount+ on the tenth.  In "Infinite", Mark Wahlberg plays Evan McCauley, who finds others of his own kind, the "Infinites", which are people who have been reincarnated over and over again after the loss of one of their lives. The is directed by Oscar winner Antoine Fuqua and looks amazing.
