Andrea Swift is a very special person. You know that within the first five minutes of meeting her. Tanner and I met her backstage at Taylor's show a few years ago and she could not have been sweeter or more personable. She of course is the mother of superstar Taylor Swift and has been a part of her daughter's life, well, forever.
She has had some medical problems of late and to be honest, I am not sure how she is doing right this minute. A few years ago Taylor honored her with a song and video called "The Best Day" showcasing Andrea's tireless devotion to her daughter.
Taylor re released that song and video back in April and last night she picked up a CMT award for Best Family Feature.
