Did he really think he wouldn't get caught?

The son of New England Patriots icon Vince Wilfork has been arrested and charged with stealing his dad's Super Bowl rings.

D’Aundre Holmes-Wilfork is facing theft charges in connection with the crime, according to court records in Galveston County, Texas. In addition to two Super Bowl rings, which Wilfork won in 2004 and 2014, Holmes-Wilfork is accused of taking two AFC championship rings, a college football championship ring, and multiple pieces of non-NFL jewelry, a police report reveals.

Wilfork says he discovered his son was the culprit after a Patriots fan messaged him to say he came across the championship rings online. He did some digging and discovered the seller was his son, he says. Wilfork, a five-time Pro Bowler, played for the Patriots from 2004 through 2016. If you found out your children had stolen from you, would you turn them in?
