I had heard about this show coming out (and even blogged about it here), but when it finally arrived on Peacock at the end of last week, I had kind of forgotten about it and its backstory. Then, last night there was nothing on TV we were interested in and I saw an ad for it. So, why not. Y’all, quite simply this is one of the scariest, and creepiest things we’ve ever seen. And we could not stop watching last night.
“Dr. Death” chronicles the brief, and thankfully, OVER surgical career of Dr. Christopher Duntsch in Dallas, Texas. He literally butchered his patients causing death, paralysis (and that was on a friend of his), life-threatening infections and more. The crux of the story is whether he is merely the worst surgeon in the history of medicine or a psychopath who knows what he’s doing and gets off on it. There are 8 episodes, and we’re already on number 6. Peacock is a free download, so it’s not gonna cost you, but this is WELL WORTH the binge. Duntsch is played by Joshua Jackson and I’ll never be able to look at him the same way again.
