On August 31st of 1997 Diana, Princess of Wales died in a terrible car accident that happened in Paris.

Charles and Diana’s Wedding Cake Up for Auction Forty years after their wedding, the wedding cake from the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana is going up for auction. According to the NY Post, on August 11, a 28-ounce slice of the wedding cake is expected to go for at least $700.
