Not Sure What To Think About Guy Fieri’s New Creation

The song (Chevy jingle actually) clearly states there’s nothing more USA than “Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet.”  So…next week at baseball’s “Field of Dreams” game in Iowa, Chevrolet…

The song (Chevy jingle actually) clearly states there's nothing more USA than "Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet."  So...next week at baseball's "Field of Dreams" game in Iowa, Chevrolet commissioned The Food Network's biggest star, Guy Fieri,  to combine hot dogs and the all-American apple pastry into "The Apple Pie Hot Dog."

Let me be clear, we are HUGE Guy Fieri fans in this house.  I cannot possibly estimate-with any accuracy-the number of hours spent watching "Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives," "Guy's Grocery Games," etc.  That being said...I'm not sure I'm tasting this.  I mean, just because you've got two great tastes, it doesn't mean they will taste great together.  Not every combination is a Reese's Cup.  However, something tells me if they take this concoction, deep fry it, and then serve it up at the Cabarrus County Fair, I could be persuaded to give it a go.
